Re-imagining futures in STEME

Studying and supporting STEM teachers, their practice and learning, and school change

The STEME group works closely with teachers in developing and refining classroom practices and approaches for the STEM discipline areas, and increasingly in interdisciplinary contexts. STEME researchers have led a number of state wide Department of Education and Training professional learning programs in science, and recently have been involved in innovative DET STEM programs in the Geelong region and in a professional learning program for low SES schools. The research of the group into interdisciplinary STEM practices has international profile, and supports an active professional learning program.
