Research methodologies
STEME researchers are dedicated to methodological innovation, and have demonstrated strength in a range of contemporary research approaches. We hold an annual ‘contemporary approaches to research’ symposium which focuses on methodological innovation. STEME researchers have strengths in: Collaborative classroom research, video research, micro-ethnographic analysis, design based research, evaluative research, cultural-historical activity theory (CHAT), self-study of teacher education, post-qualitative, quantitative, and global comparative research.
